Gelukkig Nieuwjaar 2011

May the peace and joy of the holiday season be with you throughout the coming year.

Visitors

We always enjoy company and had a few new visitors take us up on our offer of hospitality. In March an old neighbor and friend, John, stopped by for a very short visit while in Europe on business. We gave him the one day whirlwind tour of Wassenaar, The Hague, and Amsterdam. In April my college friend, Ann, whom I hadn't seen in over 15 years, was able to spend a week with us. It was wonderful to renew our friendship while enjoying the sights of Holland.

In June my cousin's family, Ray, Debbie, Kyle, Christina, and Natalie along with their friends, Linda and Erik, stopped by for a 5-day visit before continuing onto Latvia to visit their adopted children's birth country.

We're even lucky enough to have friends visit this year over the holidays, so we don't have to spend it alone. Chuck, Connie, and Charlie arrive Christmas Eve day and return to the U.S.after New Year's Day. It's their first overseas visit, so we'll show them some of Holland as well as Paris.
